Welcome back for the 2023-2024 school year!

 

This year, my 12th year at O'Farrell, I have a 9th grade Homebase and am teaching the following courses:

 

English 9

ERWC (English 12)

Career Development

AVID 10

 

I am also the English Department Chair and Career Development Coordinator, here to support student success in any way I can. My husband and I also run Fine Print Funding, a nonprofit that provides scholarships to help seniors afford the costs of applying to college. 

 

Outside of work, I am busy with my growing family. I have a 3-year-old daughter, Lola, and 1-year-old daughter, Millie, and we are always outside enjoying the San Diego sunshine. 

I was born and raised in San Diego and completed my undergraduate degree at University of Southern California. However, my degree in Business Administration never inspired or excited me. When I started my teaching credential program, I knew I was on a path that would challenge and energize me every day. I recently completed my Master's in English, with an emphasis in Education. It is my passion to help students find their strengths, using those to pursue college and career paths that enrich and inspire.

Families are welcome in my classroom any time and I look forward to seeing you at school events. A syllabus for each class that I teach is attached if you want more information about each course.
