In cooperation with the San Diego Unified School district, SAY San Diego provides the PrimeTime program in SDUSD middle schools. PrimeTime provides a safe place for middle school age youth to experience academic enrichment and recreational activities during the hours before and after the regular school day. The programs are designed to create an enthusiasm for learning. SAY is one of the largest providers of PrimeTime programs in San Diego. Programs are free, with funding provided by the State of California. Activities at PrimeTime include: * Academic Assistance * Creative Arts * Physical Education * Snacks * Clubs including flag football, cheerleading, cooking, soccer, etc. Eligibility: Middle school students interested in participating in PrimeTime at a school provided by SAY San Diego are eligible to participate as long as they are enrolled at the school they are applying for during the regular school day. Attendance Policy: In accordance with the California Education Code, students are expected to attend the program every day for the full range of hours offered. Students who do not attend regularly may be subject to disenrollment.
