Welcome to O'Farrell Community School (A National AVID Certificated School). O'Farrell Community School is a community-oriented institution dedicated to fostering high academic standards, ensuring social and emotional growth, and maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for our entire student body. Through our homebase classes, the classroom teachers will provide skills conducive to the development of critical thinking, responsible decision-making, productive citizenship and individual creativity. High emphasis is placed on teacher/parent contact.

O'Farrell holds in high regard the FALCON Way. This describes the habits and character traits that students must have to attain high academic standards and demonstrate appropriate social and emotional growth during middle school (the Falcon is the mascot of the school). The word FALCON is an acronym to identify the key character attributes necessary to succeed in school: Focus, Attitude, Leadership, Citizenship, Organization, and Non-violence.
