About Me

Hi! My name is Jonathon Vose, and I teach English Language Development at The O'Farrell Middle School. In 2015, I moved from San Diego to New York City to pursue a career in teaching. I joined the New York City Teaching Fellows, and began my teaching career in 2016, teaching English and English Language Development at an international high school in the Bronx. In 2018, I received a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from the City College of New York Graduate School of Education. After 3 years in New York City, I returned to San Diego. I am incredibly excited to be back, and especially excited to be here at The O'Farrell Middle School! This year, I'll be teaching:

 

 

Outside of teaching and education, my passions are hiking, camping, cooking, sports, and spending quality time with my family, friends, and dogs.
