Welcome to The O’Farrell Middle School where I am proud to serve in the role of the Principal of the middle school. I have been a part of the O’Farrell team since 2002 and was previously an AVID, English Language Arts, and ELD teacher before leaving the classroom for an administrative role in 2010. O’Farrell has grown and changed so much in the last decade, and I am proud to be a part of the team that provides a rigorous, engaging, and fun learning environment for students in our community. In addition to serving as the principal, I am also the AVID District Director for our K-12 charter.
I grew up in the Central Valley of California, and have lived in San Diego since graduating with my undergraduate degree and teaching credential from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Go Mustangs! I also have a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from National University, and am currently enrolled in a Doctorate of Education program with an emphasis in charter school administration from William H. Taft University.
Outside of school, I spend time with my husband and our two elementary aged children, cheering them on at soccer games and dance performances. We enjoy the beach, the San Diego Zoo, and anything outside here in beautiful San Diego!
