About Me

Hi, my name is Daniel Thomas and I am a 7th grade history teacher.

I grew up in Palmdale, Ca, which is about an hour northeast of Los Angeles. I moved to San Diego in 2011 to attend school at San Diego State University, where I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Social Science in 2014 and my teaching credential in 2022.. Prior to becoming a teacher I worked in San Diego's hospitality industry, where I met many amazing people from around the world, and learned lots of cool and interesting facts about our city.  Although this is my first year teaching at O'Farrell it is not my first experience working in a school setting, I have spent the past 5 years coaching boys & girls wrestling at Point Loma High School. I like learning interesting facts about history, hiking, Marvel Movies, and exploring the world with my wife and our 2 children.
