Hello, and welcome to my class. My name is Robert Monaco, and this is my 13th year teaching at The O'Farrell Charter School. I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Astrophysics from Cal State Northridge in 2005 and I received my teaching credential in mathematics and specialized physics from Chapman University. I have also completed some graduate work in Optical Physics at San Diego State University. During my undergraduate study at Cal State Northridge I worked at the San Fernando Solar Observatory where I performed research on sunspot activity. I recently graduated from Emporia State University's distance education program where I completed my Master's of Science in Mathematics.
I have lived in San Diego for the past 17 years with my wife of 16 years and my 14 year old son. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my wife and son, listening to music, and playing guitar.
